How does the
redshines search technology work?
Redshines’s spiders crawl billions of pages from all over the Web,
finding millions of videos for you to view. Redshines also uses
sophisticated algorithms provided by Google to remove duplicates and
ensure that the highest quality videos are presented first in your
results.

How do I search
in redshines?
Simply type your query in the search box and click the "Search"
button or hit "Enter" on your keyboard. When you see the results
page, click the thumbnail version of the video you want to view.
You'll then see a larger version of the video, as well as the page
on which the original video is located.

How can I
filter search results?
To filter out Google Video or YouTube search results, simply add "site:video.google.com"
or "site:youtube.com" (without quotes) to your search term. For example,
if you're looking for soccer videos on Google Video, enter "soccer site:video.google.com"
(without quotes) into the search box.
In case you don´t want results from for example, youtube, just add "-site:youtube.com" (without quotes) to your search term. For example, "soccer -site:youtube.com" (without quotes). |

What is Safe
Search feature?
Redshines's Safe Search filter filters sites that contain
pornography and explicit sexual content from your search results.
While no filter is 100% accurate, Safe Search uses advanced
proprietary technology to prevent mature content.
To enable the filter, click the "Options" button at the top and select Hide Adult Content. While we don't currently offer a way to password protect or lock this setting, if you have cookies enabled, you should only have to enable Safe Search once. |
